Session - My Session crashed what can I do?

  • Due to the nature of our services, we cannot be held responsible for session issues. You will need to check that you meet ALL the system requirements BEFORE attempting any session.
  • Nevertheless, if you have an error displayed during your session, make a print screen immediately and send it to us.

Session - What are the system requirements?

  • Before you pay for any services on this website, please ensure you meet ALL the following system requirements
  • Google Chrome Browser (up to date)
  • Minimum screen size of 12 inches
  • A separate mouse with centre scrolling connected to your desktop computer or laptop
  • 1280X950 screen minimum resolution setting
  • Hard copy of the London A-Z (edition as per our instructed details below).
  • Uninterupted time to complete the trial without breaks
  • A quiet place/time to concentrate for the full duration of your session
  • Your computer must accept cookies and allow for script execution.
  • Note that public places (libraries, internet cafés) may impose restrictions on their computers (no script execution, no cookies). That's why we recommend that you should be master of the computer you are using.
  • A fast and reliable connection for your trial (cable, fiber or dsl).
  • You must CLOSE ALL TABS in your browser, leaving ONLY one tab for the trial.

Payment - Can I get a refund?

  • Please ensure you have read ALL the Terms & Conditions BEFORE using this website or any services offered on this website. Once you have made a payment no refunds will be issued. However, in the unlikely event our servers go down (during your Topographical Trial session) naturally we'd offer you another trial session or a full refund.

Which Map book do I need?

  • If you are going to undertake a Topographical Trial Exam you can use any Master Atlas of Greater London from Edition 16, 2018 right through to the most current Edition 18, 2022.

Time limit - Is there a time limit before I can start my pre-paid session?

  • Yes. Once you have paid for any services, you have 48 hours to commence the session. If you fail to start your session within 48 hours of payment, you will be required to pay for another session.

Time limit - Once I start my trial session can I pause it and finish later?

  • No. Any Trial session on this website is timed, once started it can't be paused. If you prematurely end the session you�will be marked accordingly. If you take breaks it will only ruin the intended purpose of the session and mostly likely result in a fail. In summary, make sure you complete the session within the set time limit, no breaks!

Time limit - If I pay for my session via one computer/laptop, can I start my session on another computer?

  • Yes. Simply log into your account on the new computer.

Results - When will I get my results?

  • Topographical Trial : 1 - 5 working days via email.

Session - If I have started my session on one computer, can I finish it on another computer?

  • No. If you try this you will be required to make another full payment for a new session. In summary, complete the full session on the SAME computer that you started your session.

Results - When will I get my results?

  • Topographical Trial : 1 - 5 working days via email.
  • SERU Trial : Instant via Email
  • Route Planning Trial : 1 - 5 working days via email.

Results - What is the TfL and Trial Exam Pass Mark?

  • You need to achieve 60% to pass the Topographical Test. For the SERU Test it's the same, 60%. For Route Planning Only exam you need to achieve the most you can - this will then allow you increase your overall score in the actual TfL exam where there are more questions.

Session - Is the digital Map you use exactly the same as the one used by TfL in the real exam?

  • Yes, it's exactly a like for like.
